Deer Goes on Rampage in Local Supermarket

A deer has caused chaos and destruction at a local supermarket after running through the doors and charging down the aisles.

Eyewitnesses report that the animal, which appeared to be a young buck, was knocking over displays and eating everything in sight. Shoppers ran for cover as the deer bounded through the store, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Store manager, John Smith, called the police and tried to contain the deer in the dairy aisle, but it was having none of it. The animal then turned its attention to other parts of the store, causing even more chaos.

One shopper, who asked to remain anonymous, said: "It was like something out of a movie. The deer was just running wild, knocking over everything in its path. I've never seen anything like it."

As word of the incident spread, a crowd gathered outside the store, taking pictures and videos of the rampaging animal. Social media was soon awash with images of the deer snacking on bags of chips and racks of candy.

After several tense minutes, the police arrived and managed to corral the deer into a corner. They then opened the fire escape and the animal bolted out the door, straight into a tree.

As the deer regained its senses and staggered off to the woods, John Smith could only shake his head in disbelief. "I don't know how that deer got in here," he said. "But one thing's for sure, we're going to need a bigger mop."
