In a surprising turn of events, two billionaire tech magnates ended up settling their argument in an epic cage match. Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, the CEOs of Tesla and Facebook, respectively, had been at odds over the definition of 'sane.'
For months, the two had argued on Twitter and during panel discussions about what constituted being of sound mind. Zuckerberg had claimed that his definition was rooted in clinical diagnoses, while Musk had argued that anyone building their own rockets in their backyard was clearly sane.
Unable to come to a resolution, the pair agreed to settle the argument in a cage match. The rules were simple: whoever could pin the other down for a count of three was the winner.
The day of the fight arrived, and the two CEOs wore matching black and white boxing gloves as they stepped into the ring. As the bell rang out, the two began to circle each other, each sizing up their opponent.
Suddenly, Zuckerberg lunged towards Musk, who deftly stepped out of the way and tripped Zuckerberg to the ground. The crowd cheered as Musk attempted to pin his opponent down. But Zuckerberg was quicker than he appeared, and he managed to slip out of Musk's grasp and back onto his feet.
The two continued to grapple, each trying to gain the upper hand. At one point, Musk flipped Zuckerberg over his shoulder, causing him to crash to the mat. But Zuckerberg was not deterred, and he launched himself at Musk once more.
The match continued for several grueling minutes, with neither man able to gain a clear advantage. Musk attempted to use his size and strength to overpower Zuckerberg, while Zuckerberg relied on his agility and quick thinking to evade his opponent's grasp.
As the clock ticked down, it seemed as though the match was destined to end in a draw. But then, in a sudden burst of energy, Musk managed to pin Zuckerberg down to the mat for a count of three.
The crowd erupted into cheers as Musk was declared the winner. Zuckerberg, beaming despite his loss, held up Musk's hand in a show of sportsmanship.
As the two left the ring, they were bombarded with questions from eager reporters. When asked whether they felt the match had settled their argument, Musk and Zuckerberg both laughed and shrugged.
"It was just for fun," Musk said. "I don't think either of us is ever going to agree on what constitutes sanity."
Zuckerberg nodded in agreement. "I think we just proved that sometimes, the best way to settle a disagreement is by getting in the ring and duking it out."
And with that, the two titans of tech left the arena, both satisfied in the knowledge that they had put on an entertaining show for the masses.
