Home Alone 7 Takes Us Back to the Future!
The long-awaited sequel to the classic Home Alone franchise has finally arrived, and it's taking us on a wild ride through time! Yes, you read that right, our favorite, Kevin McCallister, is not only home alone but also stuck in a time-traveling adventure that puts his skills to the test.
In Home Alone 7: Kevin's Time Warp, our beloved hero accidentally activates a prototype time machine built by none other than Doc Brown himself. Kevin is transported into a weird future where he finds the "Sticky Bandits" are still after him, but this time they have evolved and are more formidable than ever.
But that is not all, as Kevin soon discovers. In this new timeline, his adult self is a grumpy, lonely, and struggling inventor, so he decides to use his second chance to outsmart his future self and prevent this terrible outcome. But as you can imagine, things get out of hand in more ways than one!
The highly anticipated Home Alone 7: Kevin's Time Warp may surprise fans with its nods to Back to the Future Part II. In one of the most memorable scenes, we see Kevin stealing the legendary hoverboard and chasing after the Sticky Bandits in the skies of Chicago. But instead of the familiar "Pitbull - Back in time" on the soundtrack, we hear a "creative" remix of Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas is You" that will undoubtedly become a seasonal favorite for fans!
If you thought the booby traps in the original Home Alone were impressive, wait until you see Kevin's inventions this time around. Armed with knowledge from the future, he improvises new and fantastic gadgets, including a drone that delivers paint bombs and a laser-powered water gun. We wouldn't be surprised if Elon Musk reaches out to Kevin for advice on his rockets!
One of the most memorable scenes in the movie is when Kevin confronts his future self in a high-tech, isolated laboratory. The older Kevin is shocked to see his past self and tries to convince him to stay and work on a top-secret project that he claims will change the world. However, the young Kevin is clever enough to see through his future self's deception and refuses to abandon his family and friends.
As in the first Home Alone movie, we see Kevin excitedly enjoying his freedom and alone time by indulging in his hobbies. Like all of us over the last two years, he's gotten a little too good at Fortnite, and we see him wrangling with his adult self in a fierce battle! The scene is so epic it left us wondering how many hours of Fortnite practice went into the making of this movie.
Home Alone 7: Kevin's Time Warp would not be complete without a suite of interesting and hilarious new characters. Our personal favorite is a robot butler named Zeeb, whose precision and dry humor are so good that we're hoping to see a standalone Zeeb movie in the future. We are sure it will be a box-office success.
Finally, we get a subtle easter egg for all the Home Alone fans. On one of Kevin's many trips back and forth through his past and future, he gets to meet up with his old friend, the pigeon lady. We won't spoil the development of their friendship from here on, but we all could use a little bit of their wisdom and perspective after the last two years we've had.
Overall, Home Alone 7: Kevin's Time Warp is sure to entertain audiences of all ages and keep us laughing with its creative, witty writing, amazing performances, and fantastic visual effects. This movie reminds us of our childhoods and the joys of spending time with our loved ones, even in the midst of chaos and time travel adventures!
