Local Man's eyes bleed after reading Terms and Conditions

A local man has gone viral after reportedly being the only person to actually read the Terms and Conditions. Sources close to him say that his eyes have been bleeding non-stop ever since finishing the document late last night.

We reached out to the man, who asked to remain anonymous. "Honestly, I thought I was being responsible by actually reading the Terms and Conditions before clicking 'I agree'," he said. "But now I'm regretting it big time."

The Terms and Conditions in question were for a popular social media platform that shall remain nameless, but let's just say that it rhymes with 'Baselook'. The 231-page document is chock-full of legal jargon and complex sentences, making it nearly impossible for the average person to understand.

"I felt like I was reading a different language," the man told us. "I had to google so many words just to make sense of what they were saying. And even then, I'm not sure I fully understood everything."

So why did he subject himself to weeks of pain and misery by reading the Terms and Conditions? "I just wanted to know what I was agreeing to," he said. "I know it sounds crazy, but I value my privacy and wanted to make sure that I wasn't signing away any of my rights without realizing it."

Despite his valiant efforts, the man admits that he probably missed a few things in the document. "It's just so long and convoluted," he said. "I wouldn't be surprised if there were hidden clauses in there that even I missed."

Fellow internet users have been quick to react to the man's plight, with many expressing shock and concern over his decision to actually read the Terms and Conditions. "It's like he's a superhero or something," one user wrote. "I've never met anyone who actually read those things."

Others poked fun at the man, with one user Photoshopping his face onto a picture of a bloodshot eye and captioning it with "Live look at the guy who read the Terms and Conditions".

It's unclear what the man plans to do next, but he says that he's learned his lesson. "From now on, I'm just going to blindly click 'I agree' like everyone else," he said. "It's not worth putting myself through this kind of torture again."

As for the social media platform in question, they declined to comment when reached for a statement. Perhaps they're too busy revising their Terms and Conditions to make them more user-friendly. One can only hope.
