Reports have emerged that a self-proclaimed "know-it-all" has renounced his previous beliefs and now claims to be the God of Madness. His followers, who previously revered him for his supposed intellect and wisdom, are now questioning his sanity.
Sources close to the man have revealed that he has been exhibiting increasingly bizarre behavior, such as wearing a tin-foil hat to protect himself from government "mind control" and insisting that the Earth is flat. But it wasn't until he started claiming that he could control the minds of those around him that his followers began to take notice.
"That's when we knew something was seriously wrong," said one former disciple. "He's always been a little strange, but we never expected this."
Despite the mounting evidence that their leader may not be as all-knowing as they thought, some followers remain loyal. "He's just testing us," said one believer. "He's trying to see if we have the faith to follow him, no matter what."
Others, however, have had enough. "I can't follow someone who thinks they're a god," said another former follower. "That's just crazy."
The God of Madness himself has yet to comment on the matter, but we can only imagine what delusions he might spout if given the chance.
It remains to be seen what will become of this bizarre self-proclaimed god and his followers. Will they continue to follow him down the rabbit hole of delusion, or will they come to their senses and abandon him for good? Only time will tell.
