New Hampshire Man Andre Wins Hardest Education Worker Award

In a stunning upset, Andre from New Hampshire has taken home the title of Hardest Education Worker. Despite fierce competition from teachers and administrators across the state, Andre's dedication to grading papers until the early hours of the morning and attending parent-teacher conferences wearing a chicken costume set him apart.

"I'm just so honored," Andre said, as he clutched his trophy. "I've always believed that being an educator is the hardest job there is. And to be recognized for that means the world to me."

Andre's commitment to his students has always been unwavering. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, when schools across the country were forced to close, Andre found a way to connect with his students.

"I remember when we went virtual last year," Andre said. "I was heartbroken that I wouldn't get to see my students in person. But I knew that they needed me more than ever. So, I started sending them letters. Handwritten, old-school letters. And they loved it. Some of them wrote back, and we started a pen-pal exchange. It was really special."

But it's not just his dedication to his students that sets Andre apart. It's also his willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty.

"Last year, we had a school fundraiser, and I dressed up as a chicken and danced in front of the entire school," Andre said. "I raised a lot of money, and the kids had a blast. It's just part of who I am. I love to make people laugh and bring joy to their lives."

When asked how he plans to celebrate his victory, Andre had a simple answer.

"I'm going to Disneyland!" he exclaimed.

And with that, Andre's Hardest Education Worker journey came to a close — at least for this year. But knowing Andre, he's already thinking about how he can improve and make an even bigger impact in the lives of his students. After all, that's what being a Hardest Education Worker is all about.
