The teenager, whose name has been withheld due to their age, reportedly confounded the seeker by somehow manoeuvring themselves back into the womb during a round of the popular childhood game.
Friends who witnessed the incident were left awestruck by the teenager's daring tactics. "We couldn't believe it. We had searched the whole house and we just couldn't find them anywhere. Then we heard the seeker calling out, 'Ready or not, here I come!' and we realised what they had done," said one friend who wished to remain anonymous.
"It's one thing to hide in a closet or under a bed, but this was something else entirely. We were all impressed, to say the least."
According to reports, the seeker in question was left scratching their head when they couldn't find the teenager anywhere. "I looked high and low, but they were nowhere to be found," said the seeker, who also wished to remain anonymous.
"I checked all the usual hiding spots – under the bed, in the closet – but nothing. Then I heard a strange noise coming from the mother's abdomen and I realised what had happened."
It is not clear how the teenager was able to accomplish such a feat, but some experts have suggested that it may have involved the use of advanced meditation techniques or even some kind of futuristic technology.
Others have speculated that the teenager may have entered some kind of alternate dimension or parallel universe in order to evade capture.
