You know what they say: sarcasm is hard to detect on the internet. And nowhere is this more evident than on the Daily WTF forum, where things took a turn for the worse when members failed to recognize the irony.

It all started when user "KarenForRealz" posted a rant about how stupid people are for not wearing masks during a pandemic. The post was dripping with sarcasm, but as we all know, sarcasm is difficult to convey through text.
