World's Cats Declare Full Indifference to Human Problems

It's official, folks. The world's cats have officially declared their full indifference to human problems. Despite the global pandemic ravaging the world, political turmoil and environmental crises wreaking havoc on our society, our feline friends remain totally unbothered and laser-focused on their own interests.

The Wibble has interviewed a number of these feline leaders and has found that their responses are absolutely purrrfect. When questioned about their apparent disregard for global issues, a fluffy tabby named Whiskers replied with a meow that roughly translated to, "Why should I care about your problems when I have a sunny windowsill to nap on?"

Another cat, a sleek black beauty named Midnight, scoffed at the idea that she should be concerned about humans during this time. "Listen, I don't even care about my own problems half the time," she said, yawning lazily. "Why should I bother with yours?"

It seems that cats around the world are united in their apathy towards humanity. One particularly chubby ginger cat named Garfield even went so far as to say, "I've got lasagna to eat and naps to take. Sorry, not sorry."

While some humans might be disappointed by this lack of empathy from their furry companions, the cats themselves seem perfectly content with their priorities. "I don't understand what the big deal is," said a fluffy Persian named Fluffy. "Humans are always saying that pets are great because we're low-maintenance. Well, here you go. You're welcome."

It's clear that while humans are focused on the chaos and turmoil of the world around them, cats are content to simply be cats. Whether they're basking in the sun, chasing dust motes, or knocking over glasses of water for fun, cats are here to remind us that sometimes the best way to deal with the world's issues is simply not to deal with them at all.

So the next time you're feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world, take a cue from your feline friends and let it all go. After all, life's too short to take everything so seriously. And if you need a reminder of the beauty and simplicity of feline life, just look to the nearest cat. Odds are, they're already taking a nap.
